The track, ‘Need You Now’, is the latest taste of the group’s forthcoming third album, which is due in 2024. You can stream it below ahead of its official release tomorrow. ‘Need You Now’ was born during a writing retreat in Harrietville, Victoria, a small town in the state’s north-east Alpine region. Despite the serene setting, ‘Need You Now’ is just as sleazy and suggestive as the material on SFLs’ most recent album, 2017’s Take You Out Tonight. The album’s 2024 release will coincide with the group’s tenth anniversary. In the meantime, Sugar Fed Leopards will launch ‘Need You Now’ at Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal on Friday, 24th November and Shotkickers, Melbourne, on Saturday, 25th November.
