Wedding Party Dance

This is a dance where you invite all of the wedding party to break open the dance floor. They can dance to either a fast song or a slow song with either their aisle partner or their own significant others. By adding this to your structure you’re including the wedding party as well as giving your guests more time to warm up for dancing.

The wedding party dance is a celebratory part of a wedding reception where the newlyweds, their bridal party, and sometimes close family or guests take to the dance floor to perform a choreographed or spontaneous dance routine. This dance can serve as a fun icebreaker for the reception, energizing guests and setting the tone for the evening’s festivities.

Anniversary Dance

I love doing this one right after the Mother-Son Dance because it keeps parents and the newlyweds on the dancefloor one more round. For this dance, you invite out all married couples for a dance. You then have an Emcee announce for all couples who have been married less than a DAY, to remove themselves… That’s YOU TWO! {This gives you a fantastic window in the timeline to go out for sunset pictures!} The DJ then announces for couples who have been married less than a year, 5 years, 10 years… and so on until you’re left with the longest married couple still on the floor. The sap in me loves this because it gives them a spotlight and public tribute to their success as a couple. If you’re not tossing your bouquet you can award it to them as a trophy!

An anniversary dance at a wedding or celebration is a special moment where married couples are invited onto the dance floor to share a dance together. Often, the DJ or emcee will gradually ask couples who have been married for shorter periods to step aside, leaving the longest-married couple dancing alone in the spotlight. This beautiful tradition honors enduring love and commitment, creating a heartfelt and memorable moment for all guests.

Getting Married? Congratulations!

Congratulations!

You’re getting married!

Now you have the rings, you’ve hopefully made your plans, you have probably developed your guest list, you have booked your reception venue.

Now it’s time to choose your Entertainer / Emcee…You’ve come to the right place.

  • Exciting and fun without being loud and overbearing
  • Professionalism
  • Packed dance floors
  • Seamless, timeless parties
  • Limitless pre-planning

We offer complete customization of music playlists for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception with access to detailed online song selection forms, timeline coordination and unlimited pre-wedding consultations to ensure everything runs smoothly. Additionally, you can expect transparent collaboration between you, your wedding DJ, and every other vendor involved to guarantee we are all on the same page and everything is exactly as you would like it to be!

Your wedding DJ is the person that will help guide you and your guests through the ceremony and reception that you have worked tirelessly to plan. They will enthusiastically introduce you and your loved ones, politely notify the guests when the food is ready and most importantly, will keep everyone entertained throughout the evening with their amazing music and non-cheesy microphone skills.

If you want your wedding to be a flawless and unforgettable night, then hiring a great wedding DJ is a must!

Being a successful wedding DJ requires skill, experience, and the ability to read a crowd. You can not get the same outcome by simply using a family friend who knows how to make a Spotify playlist. It may seem like they can handle all the same responsibilities of a professional wedding DJ on paper, but when it comes time to execute, they might not be able to handle the pressure of ensuring your special day goes off without a hitch. This is why hiring the right wedding DJ for your event is key. We have seen it all, in every different way possible so there is nothing that will stop us from making sure your day is perfect!

Father Daughter

Everyone feels the love during the Father Daughter Dance but song choices can be difficult.  What song do you want playing in the back of your head when you reflect on the beautiful moment you shared with your Dad on the dance floor on your wedding day.  Below are some song ideas that might help you find that perfect song.

Depending on your relationship with your parents you may be very emotional here or go a little overboard. I think that this dance is truly meant to honor your relationships with your parents.

First Dance

When searching for that perfect song that you two will dance for the first time together as a newly married couple can be difficult for some.  Below are some song suggestions to help you find that perfect song.

Traditionally, after speeches are made, the couple gives their Reciprocation toast and then makes their way to the dancefloor. There are literally hundreds of different songs you can choose for this dance including slow songs, hip-hop, choreographed songs or even a fancy tango! Whichever style you choose, the two of you essentially “break open” the dancefloor to start the party.

Mother Son

Every mom wants the best for her son and the Mother Son Dance is a warm feeling to see how much love each have for each other.  Below are some song ideas for that special moment.

Not surprisingly, most sons want to avoid this one, but it is really, very important to the moms! Now that I myself have two sons I will be highly encouraging this at their weddings! Grooms, go dance with that momma and make sure she knows she isn’t being replaced! Moms might {I say might because I’ve had some pretty emotional FOBs} be a little more sensitive to the meaning of this number than the dads are. Give her her time in the spotlight for raising up such an astounding gentleman.
